Owing to the late arrival by steamer by which the new artistes journeyed, and the fact that one of them had sustained an injury at their last performance, the Alexandra Cinematograph did not open last night as advertised. The show, which promises to be a good one, opens tonight instead.
The Alexandra Cinematograph was re-opened last night when there was a good attendance. The feature of the entertainment is Miss Dory-Ta, whilst a good selection of animated pictures completed the programme.

The Alexandra Cinematograph, under the original management, provided a bright and pleasing entertainment in the Cinema Theatre, Zetland Street. Good artists have been engaged, including Miss Bessie Young and Miss Dory-ta, and the films were clear and interesting.
The Alexandra Cinematograph is open nightly. The pictures are excellent, and the two artists add to the attractiveness of the programme. In spite of the hot weather, the hall is made comfortable with the aid of ceiling fans.
