To the Editor S. C. M. Post – With a reference to a letter criticising Messrs. Pathe Freres' serial picture 'The Shielding Shadow' showing at the Victoria, it is believed that the correspondent may not be aware that the film has passed the British Board of Censors.

Tonight at the Victoria Theatre will be shown the third and fourth episodes of a serial film 'The Shielding Shadow.'

The Shielding Shadow' is at present the leading film at the Victoria Theatre. A series of a parody on the cinema gazettes was the most laughable and enjoyable of the items, 'Boob Weekly.'

An interesting programme has been arranged at the Victoria Theatre for this week. Commencing on Tuesday a fine five reel film 'At Bay' with Florence Reed and Frank Sheridan will be screened. The 7th and 8th episodes of 'Shielding Shadow' will be shown.

A good programme was provided at the Victoria Theatre on Monday. 'The Shielding Shadow' was entertaining. Good class comics and artistic pictures were provided.

At the Victoria Theatre the last two episodes of the serial film 'The Shielding Shadow' will be shown tonight. The Annals of the War series is proceeding regularly and are very interesting. A great number of people are following them throughout with keen interest.

The management of the Victoria Theatre has made changes in their weekly time table. The matinee programmes will contain items of the same night's performances. A serial film 'Judex' will start on Sunday next.

The 7th and 8th episodes of 'The Seven Pearls.' Serial film 'Judex' will be screened and there will be a performance by The Ginks and the company on Sunday. The American Gazette will be screened soon.

The performance of the Ginks at the Victoria Theatre was very good. Miss Violet Harley and Billy Weston became an instant favourite. The clever fooling of Sylvesters in their Military duet also gained hearty appreciation and the two episodes of 'Judex?' [sic] increased the interest.…

The Seven Pearls' was shown at the Victoria Theatre. The programme contained 'Lonesome Luke' comedies, the British Gazette including several of the famous Bairnsfather cartoons and excellent music provided by the orchestra. On Sunday next episodes of 'Judex?' [sic] will…

The further instalments of 'The Seven Pearls' are increasingly exciting, featuring Mollie King. The rest of the programme was very good and was much enjoyed. 'Judex' will be shown soon.

A good programme was submitted at the Victoria Theatre. The conclusion of 'The Seven Pearls,' a comic 'A Lesson in Flirtation,' and a photoplay 'The Little Sisters' were shown. The final episode of 'Judex?' [sic] will be shown soon.

There will be a special matinee at the Victoria Theatre where two serial films 'Judex' and 'Seven Pearls' and comic films will be shown.
