A cinematograph performance held at the Canton Club theatre resulted in a surplus and a cheque has been devoted to the relief of suffering caused by the West River floods.

Entertainments will take place in St. John's Hall. Up-to-date cinematograph films are to be shown, whilst prominent artistes include Mrs. Marley, Mr. England, Professor Gonzales, and his string band.
