An unusually attractive and new programme has been arranged for Saturday night's performance at the Metropole Theatre on which occasion some new artistes will make their appearance, e.g. Miss Dora Grey. A new series of animated pictures will be displayed by the Bioscope.

Tsang Chung, a house 'boy,' attached to the Victoria Gaol quarters, created a disturbance last night in the Tai Ping Theatre, for which he had to pay dearly at the Magistracy this morning.

This morning, a quarrel arose between one of the managers the Tai Ping Theatre and a fiddler over a question of wages. The manager struck the musician and inflicted a nasty cut.

Rowdy characters who endeavoured to go into the Kau U Fong Theatre yesterday without tickets resisted efforts made by the management to eject them and a fight occurred which necessitated the appearance of the police on the scene. Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident.
