All the items at the Victoria Theatre last night were bright and there were some excellent war pictures. The two leading features were a remarkably pretty French comedy 'Little Miss Hard-to-please,' and a two part Wiffles extravaganza.

A man who will shoot a pal in cold blood for a letter of identification to a 'long lost' sister and then hide behind a woman's skirts to dodge the law is pretty low. He would have escaped across the Mexican border had it not been for a Texas ranger and a little freckle-faced kid.…
