At the Roman Catholic Church compound yesterday, the annual al fresco fete in connection with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul was held. The cinematograph exhibition kindly given by Pathe Freres, was the means of attracting many stray dollars.

In addition to one or two good comics, there was a lengthy four part film 'Protea' screened at the Bijou. But the special item was a really magnificent film representation of a couple of scenes from Beaumarchais' world-famous comedy 'Le Marriage de Figaro.'

23th, 24th & 25th Sept, the dramatic story 'Kit' in 4 parts, 6,000 ft. long; 'Dolores De Arada,' a Mexican drama in 2 parts.

The Bijou Theatre is providing cinematograph-lovers with an enormous treat in its new film 'Marguerite of Navarre.' This is a dramatized version of one of the older Dumas' most powerful novels, 'Marguerite de Valois.' This picture will be shown again tonight and tomorrow…
